Plot Outline
When the filmmaker who has lived in Austria since birth applied for Austrian citizenship, she was informed that over the past fifteen years, she had spent fifty-eight days too long abroad. Application denied. In this personal documentary, Olga Kosanović explores the bizarre depths and experienced injustices of Austria’s restrictive naturalization laws.
